Infographic: The Road to Joy

Picture this… It’s a beautiful summer day, you’re driving a convertible along a scenic winding road with the wind in your hair and the sun on your face, you’re singing your favorite tunes at the top of your lungs with your best friend. Can you think of anything better?

For many Americans, their car is their happy place and research proves it1. According to a 2023 study, driving improves a person’s overall mood and relieves tension (notably, this study was not conducted on people stuck in traffic on Los Angeles’ notorious 405!). However, when we look at the overall research 86% of people say that life looks pretty good when we have an open road ahead of us2. Today, we’re taking a look at the driving behaviors that bring joy to each generation.
