Employee Spotlight: Blake Bentzen

Say hello to our newest team member, Blake Bentzen. 

Blake began his career in graphic design. Due to his innate ability to build relationships, he quickly transitioned into Account Management when – in the spur of a moment – a client asked to work directly with him. Blake continues to participate in and enjoy the creative process. His combined passion for design, account management and people makes him a well-rounded team player. 

Last week, we took the time to sit with Blake and get to know him better:

What is your hidden talent? 

I can actually make crackling noises with my ears, does that count?

What do you want to be remembered for? 

I enjoy spending time with family and friends and hope to be remembered for being a good father, a good husband and good friend.

What is your drink of choice?  

It’s called “moitié-moitié”.  In the canton of Geneva, a “moitié-moitié” generally refers to a digestif containing one half Williamine liqueur and one half Williamine eau-de-vie.  You typically have it after a heavy cheese fondue, it’s my favorite.

What was your first job? 

I started as a Graphic Designer at Salomon Snowboards designing board graphics.

What was your favorite Halloween costume? 

Funny enough, when I was living with my grandmother during college she suggested “as a joke” to go as a tampon, and I actually did!
