What is one superpower you wish you possessed?

Teleportation. Since I drive (99% of the time in standstill traffic) about an hour each way to get to the office, I would totally appreciate the ability to teleport. I’m sure other commuters would agree! I also love the idea of bypassing chaotic airports to be able to instantly arrive at whatever destination I choose.

What is your favorite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

I love taking Sundays to spend time outdoors. In the summer, my ideal weekend afternoons include hitting farmers’ markets, hiking, and the beach, followed by grilling & a couple beers in my backyard. It doesn’t get much better than that!

What non-profit organizations are you involved with?

One of my favorite non-profits that I actively support is CHILL Foundation, founded by Jake & Donna Carpenter of Burton Snowboards. Essentially, the foundation works alongside social service agencies to bring snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing programs to youth in need, at no cost. These activities can help give kids an outlet and provide them with a much needed sense of community and support, which is something I personally find both important and inspiring.

Where do you want to travel, but never been?

I’ve always wanted to go to Breckenridge, Colorado! Maybe Denver and the surrounding area, as well. I love the mountains and have wanted to travel to the Rockies for years now. Hoping to make the trip out West as a birthday gift to myself soon!

If you had access to a time machine, where would you go first?

The first place I’d go (and probably never leave) is Venice Beach, California around the 1970s. One of my favorite photographers, Hugh Holland, captured scenes from this area/time period, and they are easily some of my favorite photos. I’d love to see it and live it!
