Warriors for a Cure Go the Distance for Pediatric Cancer

This September, in honor of National Childhood Cancer Awareness month, our team is participating in the annual Alex’s Million Mile initiative. This month-long event, hosted by the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, calls for teams from across the country to walk, run, and ride a collective total of one million miles before the month is up in order to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

Our Fairfield County based-team, Warriors for a Cure, has been busy logging miles and donations in support of a cause near and dear to our hearts. Below, you can see some of the Warriors at work.

There may not be much time left in September, but it’s not too late to join the team and log those miles! Volvo is generously matching all donations made between September 26^th and 29^th, so be sure to take advantage of that gracious offer.
